How It All Started
My name is Amanda Benavente, I am the founder of By Benavente, LLC.
This crazy journey into Social Media Management all started after graduation from college in the winter of 2020. I left Emerson College with a degree in Business of Creative Enterprises, and a minor in Entrepreneurship ready to conquer the world and work for a company like Nike or Addidas, since I was an athlete my whole life I wanted to stay in that avenue.
But the way things played out went unexpectedly... I graduated in the midst of a global pandemic, few places were hiring, and I was back in South Florida unsure of what was next. I knew that whatever I was going to do was going to begin in the marketing field, I had many internships in social media marketing working with small businesses to public figures to an agency in Boston. I had so much experience under my belt as a 21-year-old out of college I figured why not put my experience and skills to the test?
So, days later I filed By Benavente, LLC. under the state of Florida and began my journey as a founder of a creative social media marketing agency in Boca Raton, FL. Hop forward a few years, and I am still running this small company helping brands in the home industries, beauty, athletics, and apparel grow a social presence that disrupts the norms! I have now helped multiple clients grow by 300- 500% + across social media platforms! But this success was not numeric, it took thought-driven, creative, engaging, and design-centric content- the core aspects of how I help brands BECOME SOCIAL.
In the end, what I do isn't for the followers, it's to help brands build a name for themselves on social media, build a community, and create a presence that is authentically theirs while showcasing their unique selling point in subtle but impactful ways.
I may be 24 years old now, but I sure know what I am doing. And I can't wait to help more brands make a true impact with their social presence online.
